The Star Voice is a newsletter written by high school and University students from Ashaiman, Ghana. Ashaiman is the location of the Princeton University-Engineers Without Borders project that I helped conceive and lead. Much more information about the EWB project is available from the project website here.
I proposed the idea behind The Star Voice newsletter in February, 2009, in an application for the Martin A. Dale Summer Award. I have posted that proposal on this blog here. In conjunction with Sefa Awaworyi, a recent graduate of Ghana’s Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, we were able to recruit a small and committed set of high school students who would like to see some change in their community.
We have wrapped up publication of The Star Voice for now. All twelve published editions are now available below.
